I now have a broadband connection to the web! It is faster than the old way, but if you send huge files I may dump them and ask you to do it again!
If you want to send an image of any kind, please think first.
If the image is available online, just send a link (copy the information in the top of your browser window, and paste it into the email.) It's quicker for me and saves bandwidth. Please do NOT send images from my own website by email...
If it's a digital picture you have taken, or one you have scanned, it will need reducing in size and resolution before you can send it to me.
If you don't know how to do this, email and tell me what program you use and I will help. If you look in your camera software there should be a command to do this (it may say "resize", "resample", or "prepare for web"). The 2 or 3 megabyte image that comes out of your camera will take ages to download, but I will stop it before it gets to that....

I don't normally deal in electric machines or any parts that are directly electrical, such as pedals, plugs, or motors. This is for two reasons: firstly I don't like electrical bits or know much about them: secondly, I am not allowed to by law unless I PAT test parts, and I don't do that...
Try Ebay, and ask your localplace, they will have some electrical stuff. Failing that, they can test your bits and pieces for you.
Mostly commonly replaced parts are available all over the place. I can get needles, rubber tyres for bobbin winders, treadle belts, springs, regular and zip feet, etc. at my local sewing machine shop, and so can you. They are never going to stop being available while there is a market, so please ask locally first. If you really can't get the part I will source for you, but it helps the world to run better if everyone understands that newer is not necessarily better...
Don't let your sewing machine man tell you that he can't get stuff, he can...
For all other parts, I need to know the Make, Model, and approximate age of your machine (serial number), and precisely which bit is broken/missing. Again, if you don't know, please ask...
