Ann's work tends to be abstract, expressing the thoughts and feelings behind an idea, and there is very little hand stitching because she considers that the sewing machine gives greater freedom.
Member of The Embroiderers' Guild.
Work illustrated in "Bead Embroidery" by Valerie Campbell-Harding and Pamela Watts; and articles published in the "World of Embroidery" magazine.
National Winner of the 2001 President's Cup for hand stitching, awarded by the Embroiderers'Guild.
Recently her work has been influenced by research into family history, and working with grids enclosing circles.
