Helen Howes
I have been a textile artist and kitemaker for 30 years. I work with appliqué and piecing, with hand-dyed and commercially printed fabrics, in 2 and 3 dimensions. I knit, bind books, make wall pieces and other architectural textiles, and make single-line kites and banners.
I am very much involved with colour and light, and the effect of art in the environment, in the home or the wide sky.
I am always happy to work to commission.
