Maggi Rutterford
Textile artist
Maggi works in a variety of textiles with the emphasis on appliqué, quilting and embellishment. Her work is inspired by symbolism and the natural world.
She is strongly influenced by, and has a great interest in Asia, which she has visited a number of times.
Maggi successfully completed City and Guilds Parts 1 and 2 between 1996 - 2000.
She was first prizewinner in the exhibition "Eastern Inspirations", and her work has been retained for the Norfolk Museums Collection.
Maggi is a member of The Quilters Guild of the British Isles, The Embroiderers' Guild, and is a founder member of Majyk Scraps.
