Margaret has had an interest in textiles and embroidery for many years.
She completed City and Guilds in Creative Embroidery in 1995.
She has a particular interest in embroidery on handmade felt, and was National Winner of the 1996 President's Cup for hand stitching awarded by The Embroiderers' Guild.
