By studying and abstracting recurring features of the English landscape, Ruth produces collaged pieces in fabric and paper, printed, painted, overdyed, stitched, and often beaded. The resulting decorative surface indicates, rather than describes, the original idea.
She has an honours degree in Art and Design.
Ruth is a member of The Embroiderers' Guild.
