Sampler Block Quilt For Beginners £95
A complete beginners course - covering fabric choice, rotary cutting, stitching, setting, finishing and quilting. Some homework will be required! Machine sewing.

From Fimo, paper, cloth, wire, and little beads. Fun and easy. Slightly messy.. Suitable for all ages...Most materials provided

Learn to use a screen to print on fabric, cut stencils and monoprint techniques. 4 students only...

Make a simple but effective tree panel using shades of one colour. Applique and piecing made easy.

Make a fashionable and personal Ugly Doll, stuff and decorate and take home to love... Design your own or work from my ideas.. Work with fleece and felt, buttons, beads and wool... Some materials provided.

Procion dyes, shibori, low-water immersion and tray dyeing; and transfer dyes. Make your fabric sing with colour...

Free-motion Quilting £15
Learn to draw with your sewing machine and make texture on cloth. Basic machines only required

Japanese Bookbinding £30
Make two delightful and useful Japanese-bound books with your sewing machine.. No glues! Price includes paper and boards for the books.

Teapot Quilters
..meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, 1 till 4:30 pm. Beginners and intermediate quilters welcome. This is a continuing class and I prefer it if you attend regularly.This class is full at present, but I keep a waiting list. You may visit to see if it is what you would like...

Perfect Attention Days
For any number of people up to 12. Rent the workshop and my facilities for a day or longer, at times to suit you.
Bring your Project, Unfinished Objects, or any sewing task, and lunch. I provide tables, tea, cake, and my Undivided Attention to help you with your project.
£80 all day for up to 4 people, thereafter £10 per person. Times to suit, but normally 10 till 5...
If you wish to book a class, you can choose to come to my workshop at a time to suit you, with a minimum of 4 people. Larger groups, (up to 14, if booked as a group), may be eligible for a discount... Please ring or email for more details... I am always happy to come to your group, shop, or guild to teach, and am planning tours of Devon and Scotland for 2008... I'm open to other areas, too....
