Pieced - free-cut and reassembled, machine and hand-stitch, free-motion quilted, walking-foot quilted. Raw-edge applique. Fraying. Bound edge with mitred corners.
Sewing Machine(s): Berninas, treadle and electric.
Materials:
Cotton and linen fabric and lace; mother-of-pearl buttons; cotton batting. Bits of recycled quilt edges.
Inspiration:
Starting with cream; all is cream and little fruit. Leaves don't need to fall, winds blow, it is very cold...
