Journal Quilts 2008 | |||||
| A project of the Contemporary Quilt Group - a small piece (12 by 12 inches) each month for a year, with the object of recording and exploring the changes of the year. My theme for 2008 is Division, Subtraction, Addition, and Multiplication, with some other ideas all running together. As not everyone can see the beauty of the square, I have started by dividing it at a Golden section point in each direction; some are more obviously divided than others... Then each piece has a circle or circles, a different method of finishing the edge (this will get trickier) and there is a running colour sequence... Phew!
